Housing Case Studies 2026 Summer Research Opportunity


The Social Science Research Council (SSRC), as part of the Better Urbanism, Infrastructure, and Land-Use Decisions (BUILD) Research Network program, seeks proposals from researchers to recruit and supervise students to conduct high-quality case studies during the summer of 2026 on state legislative sessions that passed bills intended to legalize or encourage housing production.

The Better Urbanism, Infrastructure, and Land-use Decisions (BUILD) Research Network is funding five scholarships to attend the 2026 International Transportation Economics Association (ITEA) Annual School and Conference in Bergamo, Italy.

The ITEA Annual School provides young researchers and practitioners with a high-quality introduction to academic research in transportation economics, including many recent advances in the field. The program consists of lectures and tutorials conducted by some of the most prominent researchers in transportation economics, covering topics such as road pricing, urban public transportation, environmental economics in transportation, cost-benefit analysis, travel time reliability, airline network economics, and empirical methods.
