Call for Papers: AREUEA Virtual Seminar Series


The American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association welcomes high-quality papers on a broad range of topics, including, but not limited to: real estate economics, urban and regional economics, real estate finance, housing markets and public policy, and macroeconomic and financial issues related to real estate. Although the series primarily showcases the work of AREUEA members, submissions and participation are welcome from both members and non-members. Seminars will take place live on Wednesdays, from 11:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. Eastern time, with a 50-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute moderated discussion.

To be considered for the 2026–2027 series, please email your paper to Eunjee Kwon at eunjee.econ.job@gmail.com. In the email subject line, please include the paper title and the name(s) of the presenter(s). Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and presentation slots are limited.

The deadline for policy proposals is September 13, 2026.

Request for Papers: Arnold Ventures Evidence & Evaluation


The Arnold Ventures’ Evidence and Evaluation team is currently accepting applications across multiple policy areas through the Strengthening Evidence and Building Evidence RFPs. The Strengthening Evidence RFP supports randomized controlled trials across most domestic social policy areas; the Building Evidence RFP supports quasi-experimental studies that estimate the real-world effects of existing policies. Both aim to strengthen causal evidence in social policy by identifying the most effective strategies to improve outcomes at scale. 

The Building Evidence RFP invites proposals across several priority areas, including infrastructure, to expand what’s known about building infrastructure faster, better, and at lower cost across housing, transportation, and energy.
